This private holiday home has been designed to create the perfect setting for family or friends’ group holidays. With so much to do in the grounds you may not wish to venture out, but I seriously recommend exploring the area. We are within a short drive of the stunning South Downs, glorious south coast beaches, Glyndebourne Opera House and dozens of charming villages, towns & places of historical interest. Despite years of holidaying all over the world, I really think this is the best location of all with the added bonus of a stress free journey. 

We blend a super efficient property layout with a homely feel yet surrounded by ecclectic, fun design. Old Glebe at Waldron includes the Big House & Stable Cottage situated in 30 acres of gardens and farmland for you to explore and call your own. On site you will find a Swimming Pool, Tennis and Footie Court, Wood Fired Pizza Oven, Webber Gas BBQ, Outdoor Kitchen, Table Tennis/Games Room, Sundowner Picnic Area, Trampolene, Croquet Lawn, Veg & Orchard, Greenhouse, Open Fires, Aga & Range Cooker, Smeg fridges and a Banqueting Table.  Offering peace and tranquillity for those looking to escape the hubbub of daily life for a relaxing holiday, yet within an hour on the train from Central London (easily reached for a day commute), and around 30 minutes from the south coast beaches, Tunbridge Wells or Brighton.

Picturesque Waldron is a short walk across our fields and is the epitomy of a charming rural village, complete with a great pub, cricket club (visitors welcome), a romantic church and a cheese maker, all set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our home is totally private surrounded by the extensive gardens and farmland, with views over the South Downs to the sea at Beachy Head (from the top floor). Walks from the house are numerous and varied, through fields and woodland, and often ending up at the pub (if you wish).

Old Glebe is wonderful for the imagination to have an adventure in your own space and land; it is full of surprises with so much love and attention that you are sure to discover something new each time you visit. We are constantly adding to, and improving, the property and gardens, so there is always more detail to discover on your next trip - most of our guests come back time and again and we love hearing what makes them happy!
